TAKE SOME ROPE is the atelier of textile artist Yulia Tishchenko.
In her tapestries, Yulia transforms personal stories and emotions into fabric you can touch. Threads become her language, a way to express feelings and experiences that are hard to put into words. Each piece grows from her intuition and inner journey, exploring new ways to speak through weaving. Lately, she has been drawn to the dialogue between fragility and strength, tradition and experiment, often combining textiles with ceramics or glass to create unexpected textures and forms.
Her work has been shared at international exhibitions, including Paris Design Week (2022), Biennale Révélations (2023, 2024), and Maison & Objet (2023, 2024, 2025) and Journée du Patrimoine Culturel at the Carrousel du Louvre (2022). Today, Yulia’s tapestries are held in private collections, including the Durjoy Foundation and Sheikh Abdulla Bin Mohammed Al Thani.
Alongside her exhibition work, the atelier also creates custom commissions, bringing unique visions to life through textile art.
